Zeus' Tile Sealer

Zeus is formulated for absorbent surfaces, including cement tile, natural stone, oncrete, and terracotta. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. For best results, prepare the surface with the appropriate primer before sealing with Zeus: on cement tile, natural stone, and concrete, use Poseidon's Tile Primer; on terracotta and cotto, use Demeter's Terracotta Primer. The primer balances surface absorption so Zeus bonds evenly and performs to its full potential.

Zeus is a solvent-based penetrating sealer, which is what allows it to absorb deep into porous tile and create a durable, long-lasting protective barrier. The solvent carrier produces a strong odor during application and while the product is curing — this is normal and dissipates as the sealer dries. For safe use, always apply in a well-ventilated area: open windows and doors and use local aspiration where possible. Wear protective gloves, eye and face protection, and a respirator if ventilation is limited. Keep Zeus away from heat, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources, and use non-sparking tools. Wash hands and face thoroughly after handling. Always review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use.

First, test on a small, inconspicuous area. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt, grime, residues, waxes, or other treatments. For newly installed surfaces, confirm grout and adhesive are fully dried. For best results, treat the surface with the appropriate primer first — Poseidon's Tile Primer for cement tile, natural stone, and concrete, or Demeter's Terracotta Primer for terracotta and cotto. Shake Zeus well, then apply a thin, even layer using a brush, roller, or low-pressure sprayer, and allow the product to penetrate for 15-30 minutes. Once the
dwell time is complete, wipe away any excess sealer that has not absorbed into the surface using a clean, lint-free cloth — this prevents residue, streaking, and a sticky or hazy finish. On highly absorbent surfaces, apply a second coat after the first coat has fully dried, and wipe away
excess again. Avoid water exposure for at least 24 hours.

Zeus is supplied in a 33.5 fl oz (1000 mL) bottle. Coverage varies with tile porosity and texture; on typical cement tile installations our customers report approximately 100-160 square feet per bottle. Highly absorbent surfaces or rough textures will use more product.

Allow the sealer to dry for 2-3 hours before light traffic. Full cure and maximum performance are achieved within 24 hours. Avoid water exposure and heavy traffic during this 24-hour window.

Zeus is designed to preserve the natural look of the material without altering its appearance, leaving no residue or film. We always recommend conducting a preliminary test on an inconspicuous area to confirm the result, especially on lighter or unsealed surfaces.

Zeus provides superior stain resistance and durable protection against moisture, stains, and daily wear on absorbent surfaces. It does NOT protect against surface etching from acidic substances such as urine, and it will not prevent scuff marks or scratches. It does, however, make routine maintenance and cleaning of treated surfaces much easier. Once fully cured, Zeus is safe for contact with food.

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with white spirit or a suitable solvent cleaner. Store Zeus in its original sealed container in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, heat sources, open flames, sparks, and other ignition points.
